According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple's plans to reduce the thickness of its devices are not limited to just the iPad Pro tablet. The company also has plans for thinner versions of the Macbook Pro, Apple Watch, and iPhone. Rumors of a thinner iPhone have been circulating as early as last month.
Gurman says that the company is on the verge of introducing a "new class of Apple devices that are intended to be the thinnest and lightest products in their categories in the entire technology industry."
Citing his own sources, Gurman says that a compact iPhone may appear as soon as 2025 with the release of the iPhone 17 lineup. For the other devices mentioned in the report, there is no timetable yet for the release of thinner versions.
It is expected that the future thin iPhone will be more expensive than the current iPhone Pro Max, and will have a screen size between the Pro Max and the standard iPhone.
