Apple has announced that it is now offering diagnostic tools for Self Service Repair - independent servicing of iPhone, Mac, and Studio Display - in Europe.
This software allows customers to complete the system configuration process after self-repair by placing the device in diagnostic mode and following on-screen prompts, without the need to contact Apple.
Apple says that the diagnostic toolkit for Self Service Repair is now available in 32 European countries, including the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and others. Unfortunately, Ukraine is not included in this list. Previously, this tool was only available to Apple Store technical specialists and authorized Apple service providers. It first became available for self-service in the US last year, and now its reach has extended to Europe.
The Self Service Repair program was launched in April 2022. It provides Apple customers with access to the company's original parts, tools, and guides to perform repairs on certain models of iPhone, Mac, and Studio Display, allowing them to do some repairs themselves.
