UI/UX designer Maria Abashina stated that the company Infinity Technologies AG removed her from the work Slack chat because of a question about salary.
According to her, the company stopped timely or any payments of wages to its employees back in November of last year.
"After a wave of layoffs and 'benches,' everyone was promised that payment would come soon, but 8 months have passed and no one has received their money (some are owed $500, some - several thousand). First, there was something with Wise, then the stars were not aligned, then something else," she wrote on LinkedIn.
Ignoring and deleting "undesirable" employees
At the same time, as it became known, the company itself does not react to the problem. Moreover, "the company has chosen a tactic of total ignoring and deleting 'undesirable' employees from the work Slack."
"For example, I am constantly being blocked/deleted because apparently I make too much noise. The company's CEO Alexander Yatsentyuk only reacted to payment delays in March, that is, after 4 months. Before that, he didn't care at all, and then he decided that he didn't need to react to it at all," she wrote.
According to Maria, there are still people in the company who have not seen their salary for 3-4 months: "every month, the company comes up with new payment deadlines, and naturally, no one receives a penny."
Reaction from Infinity Technologies AG
The editorial staff received a response from HR of Infinity Technologies AG, Evgeny Dmitriev. He noted that the company had actually settled with the designer.
The delays were due to the fact that clients had not settled with the company, and now the problems are being resolved, and current salaries are being paid in full
"The company does not owe anything to Miss Maria. All debts were paid to her this morning, as evidenced by the receipt that I attached to the message. After that, she was removed from the corporate slack after her rude message," HR said.
As proof, a receipt was attached to the message.
Meanwhile, Maria was surprised by this information.
"They have 'paid' me three times already, and each time I received about $0 for my work. Very strange people. I am shocked, to be honest," she reacted to HR's response and shared corresponding screenshots.
The editorial staff continues to monitor the situation and may update the news with current information
