The next installment of the game "The Witcher," known as Project Polaris, has entered active development. This announcement was made by CD Projekt RED on X (formerly Twitter).
“I’m happy to announce that Project Polaris has officially moved into full-scale production! With new challenges ahead, it's the talented and dedicated people that make me believe we can create an outstanding experience for the upcoming Witcher Saga. We won’t stop! Stay tuned for what’s next!” — wrote Sebastian Kalemba, the game director of the new Witcher trilogy.

We remind you that in July of this year, 410 developers were already working on Project Polaris. CD Projekt RED’s CFO, Piotr Nielubowicz, stated in August that the project was ready to advance to the next phase of development — production.
According to leaks, the game is expected to be released in late 2025.
