Asus has announced several new laptops designed for work and content creation, powered by the latest Intel and Qualcomm processors. Most of these are classified as Copilot+ PCs.
Asus Vivobook S 15
Asus introduces the new Asus Vivobook S 15 and ProArt PZ13 laptops, which are equipped with the recently unveiled eight-core Snapdragon X Plus processor. The company highlights that these new Copilot+ PCs will be available to customers globally.
The Vivobook S 15, "designed for maximum portability," boasts a sleek metal chassis that measures just 14.7 mm in thickness and weighs 1.42 kg. Its 70 Wh battery provides over 19 hours of use and supports Asus's USB-C Easy Charge rapid charging. The laptop features an RGB backlit keyboard and a Copilot key, along with a large touchpad that supports gesture controls. It also comes with the AI application StoryCube for content creators.
The port selection includes USB4, USB 3.2, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD slot. The Wi-Fi 7 wireless network operates at speeds of up to 5.8 Gbps. The Vivobook S 15 features a 15.6” 3K 120 Hz Asus Lumina OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and Dolby Atmos audio.
Asus ProArt PZ13
The lightweight ProArt PZ13 laptop, weighing only 850 g and measuring 9 mm in thickness, is designed "for creativity on the go." As such, it is IP52-rated for moisture and dust protection and has been tested for military-grade durability.
The laptop is equipped with two USB4 ports and an SD card reader. Its 70 Wh battery allows for up to 21 hours of video playback. The 3K Asus Lumina OLED touchscreen supports stylus input.
The ProArt PZ13 includes AI-based tools like StoryCube for resource management and ProArt Creator Hub for workflow optimization. It comes with a six-month subscription to CapCut, which offers rich video editing capabilities for content creators.
Asus ExpertBook P5 Copilot+ PC
Additionally, Asus unveiled the ExpertBook P5 (P5405) targeted at business users, which also falls under the Copilot+ PC category. It is powered by the new Intel Core Ultra 200V processor. The laptop features a 2.5K 144 Hz display and weighs just 1.29 kg.
The ExpertBook P5 features a "premium-class" aluminum chassis. Its spacious mouse area is designed for comfortable use. The processor is cooled by an enhanced Asus ExpertCool system.
The laptop is armed with Asus AI ExpertMeet, an AI assistant aimed at improving video conferencing experiences. AI Meeting Minutes serves as an assistant during meetings, while the AI Translated Subtitles feature provides real-time translation during conversations in different languages, complete with an identification "watermark" for dialogues.
The business-grade BIOS, compliant with the NIST SP 800-155 standard, ensures firmware protection. Asus provides comprehensive five-year support for BIOS and driver updates for enhanced security. The Asus Business Support package includes on-site repair, technical support, and 24/7 customer assistance.
Asus ExpertBook P1
Asus has introduced a new lineup of ExpertBook P1 laptops. The P1403 and P1503 models are designed for economic use. These laptops are available with a screen size of either 14" or 15" and feature Full HD resolution.
The ExpertBook P1 weighs only 1.4 kg. It is equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor up to the 13th generation and offers up to 1 TB of storage with SSD RAID support for improved speed, along with up to 64 GB of RAM. It features a fingerprint sensor and a TPM 2.0 chip for privacy protection. The laptop's BIOS is safeguarded against firmware corruption.
The laptop boasts a "full range" of ports and connectors, designed to allow free movement of the mouse without cable interference. The right side of the device is nearly entirely unobstructed.
The Asus ExpertBook P1 is equipped with the new exclusive Asus AI ExpertMeet application to enhance video conferencing quality, featuring AI Meeting Minutes and AI translation. The ExpertBook P1 ensures corporate-grade firmware security that complies with NIST BIOS integrity standards.
